Choosing the best full body silicone reborn doll is less about finding one universal “best” model and more about matching the doll to the way you want to collect, hold, display, and interact with it. Size, facial expression, body style, and functional features can all change the experience.
This guide breaks down the strongest buying categories for collectors so you can narrow your choice with confidence.

Best Overall Choice: 18-Inch Full Body Silicone Reborn Dolls
For many collectors, 18 inches is a balanced size: large enough to create a realistic newborn presence, but still easy to hold, dress, and display. An 18-inch reborn baby doll is a strong starting point if you want a classic newborn scale without moving into a larger, heavier format.
Collectors who prefer a peaceful expression can also browse sleeping reborn baby dolls in this size.

Best for a Compact Collection: 13-Inch Silicone Reborn Dolls
If you prefer a smaller doll that takes up less display space and is easier to handle, a 13-inch reborn doll can be a practical choice. Compact silicone dolls are especially useful for collectors who want a smaller scale while still enjoying the soft, flexible feel of full body silicone.
Some 13-inch styles also include interactive features, making them a good option if you want a smaller doll without giving up functionality.

Best Mid-Size Option: 16-Inch Full Body Silicone Reborn Dolls
A 16-inch reborn baby doll sits between compact and classic newborn sizes. This can be a good fit if you want more presence than a mini doll but prefer something slightly easier to manage than an 18- or 20-inch model.

Best for a Larger, More Substantial Feel: 20-Inch Silicone Reborn Dolls
Collectors who want a fuller presence in the arms often prefer 20-inch reborn baby dolls. The larger size uses more silicone in full body silicone designs, which can create a more substantial holding experience.
For current 20-inch choices across silicone, vinyl and cloth-body constructions, see our Best 20-Inch Reborn Dolls for Collectors guide.
If you also want interactive feeding features, compare the drinking & wetting silicone reborn dolls collection.
Best for Maximum Display Presence: 22-Inch Reborn Dolls
A 22-inch reborn baby doll creates a noticeably larger display presence. This size can appeal to collectors who enjoy dressing larger dolls or want a centerpiece-style reborn for a collection.
Material varies in this size, so check whether a specific doll is full body silicone, vinyl, or cloth body before buying.
For current large-size picks by material, see our Best 22-Inch Reborn Dolls for Collectors guide.
Sleeping vs Open-Eye Silicone Reborn Dolls
Sleeping dolls create a calm newborn look and are popular with collectors who prefer soft, peaceful expressions. Open-eye dolls feel more alert and expressive. Neither is objectively better; the right choice depends on the mood you want your collection to have.

Are Drinking & Wetting Reborn Dolls Worth It?
If interaction matters to you, a drinking and wetting function can add another layer to the collecting experience. These dolls are a better fit for buyers who want more than visual realism and enjoy functional feeding features.

What Material Should Collectors Choose?
Full body silicone reborn dolls are generally chosen for their soft, flexible feel and head-to-toe silicone construction. Vinyl and cloth body reborn dolls offer a different handling experience and are often lighter.

How Much Should You Budget?
Price can change with size, the amount of silicone used, handcrafted finishing, and functional features. Larger full body silicone dolls usually require more material than smaller dolls, while drinking and wetting features can also affect pricing.
